Michelle loves to write and ask hard questions.

After many careers and much time in school this has been a constant.

The pandemic found her needing to pivot her talents toward a new career — freelance writing and multi media journalism.

After a brief time at Torstar, writing for The Local news websites, this behemoth media conglomerate laid off its entire workforce without so much as a thank you mam.

She now contributes to  Kingstonist News – 100% local, independent news in Kingston, ON.
